Blue or Green fish for a 75 gallon reef

Hey

I've had a 75 gallon reef set up for almost 6 months now. So far it's got a blood orange misbar clownfish, a clarkii clownfish, and a columbian shark (aka jordans catfish). Everybody is doing great. they all get along well and are growing steadily.

Live aquaria is doing a sale right now on a couple fish I wanted and I thought I'd buy a few more to fully stock my tank. I know I'd like to add one of the smaller tangs (kole, bristletooth, tomini) to help with algae and I'm open to suggestions. I'd also like to get a blackcap basslet just because I like the coloration.

I'd also like one last fish so I have 6 total. Given my stocking it needs to be on the smaller side, say 3 to 5 inches, reef safe and compatible with the fish I have. I'd really like if it had different and unique colors than what I have; say green or blue. I've considered a biota blue mandarin but think it might be too difficult without a refugium. I've also looked into the princess (ocellate) damselfish. However, I'm worried that it will be too aggressive and won't do well without another of its species.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to add all my fish now as I've heard tangs should be added last as they can bully other fish. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I looked into every fish you mentioned. The triggers get too big and have too much bioload for the room I have I left in my tank. I really liked some of the angelfish, I am a little worried that they will eat my coral? Does anyone have any experience or tips on how to minimize their nipping so that they'd be reef safe? I'm also into the wrasses. I think that or a damsel may be what I end up with. With the wrasses I'm a little concerned with jumping because I have hang on back filters and a protein skimmer so a canopy just isn't feasible for my tank. Do you think it'd be worth it to try? the Solorensis especially is appealing to me. I also really like the look of the damsel. I also think it's aggression level would be manageable as it would be the smallest fish in the tank. Do you have any more advice?

Those Angels mentioned are reef safe as far as Angelfish are concerned. I have had a couple of them in my tanks with no problem. I guess, make sure they are fed at least once daily if you want to be rest assured that they don’t pick on corals. Also, they make an Angelfish formula food that is very good for them.
As for the jumping, you could cut a piece of egg-crate, which I did on my 75 gallon to reduce that issue or screen used for doors and canopies, plus it doesn’t impede the air/water surface interface gas exchange.
Other fish:
Rhomboid, Scott’s, Exquisite Wrasse. The males are the most colorful!
Blue Tang
Hippo Tang
Blue Chromis’
Harlequin Fliefish
Green or Blue Clown Gobies.
