blue plus / super actinic only t5 lighting

Does anyone use blue plus mixed with super actinic for lighting? I really like the all blue look and the super actinics with the blue plus really make a nice dark blue violet look just wondering if the acros would do good with the spectrum with no full spectrum I know Jason fox used mainly all blue but would like to see if other reefers are having suscces this combo I'm running 4 blue plus 2 super actinics

They’ll do fine. You may not quite have the same LONG term zip in color that a more full spectrum layout would provide, but the acros will grow fine. Keep in mind Jason fox uses a ton of blue, yes, but on his sps raceways he runs 2 reef brite xho strips, and 4 t5ho with 3 blue+ and one purple+. Not a ton of light compared to a lot of growers, but he DOES have the red end of the spectrum represented for color development, even if the acros are showed off primarily under blue LEDs.
