Blue Ribbon Eel Questions

Plus about a tbsp of pellets and half a sheet of nori
Not a cheap tank to feed :)

He will look great in that tank

Just checking...you do have the tank covered extremely well don't you, ribbons can squeeze out of the smallest crack.

Yup Im really excited, I also got a mated pair of mandarin dragonets, and a copperband butterfly(i have a bad aptasia problem) and a 6" blonde Naso tang with streamers- those guys are coming in Wednesday, ill post pics when they arrive

i have kept many mandarins in the past and i love them, and i found a mated pair on divers den, i couldn't pass them up!

here is the tank he is going in- I did not buy the blue tang, he was a rescue, he is now 9" long and i love him :)

Those bangais could end up as dinner. Not sure I’d trust it with the mandarins either, but I’ve heard they have some kind of slime on their skin that makes them taste bad?

Yeah, i know i got them for free, i dont really care much for them- super agressive

ill post pics in about an hour

hey guys! I have all the fish ( 5 of them) in the QT tank, The eel has decided to hide in his PVC pipe. I will try to get pics of him asap!

Living the life! That is some super clear water, wish my tank looked that good.

How long have had her, did you have since a juvi or as a male, or did you get her as a female.

We have had her for over 3 years. She was yellow when we got her but the previous owner had picks of her as a Black and yellow juvenile.

She will eat almost anything but her favorites are fresh shrimp strips and thawed silversides.

The person you got her from took really good care of her. Ribbon eels are very difficult, the only other female I know of, the guy raised from juvi, ate live mollies.
