We had one for about four weeks. It seemed to be doing very well. It was eating mysis and other frozen foods. It had moved around, digging new burrows under the rock and seemed happy. We saw him about 4:00 one afternoon and went out for a while. When we returned he was missing without a trace. Very sad day.

Are they really ?
Why are they 'hard' ?
I just got mine in yesterday and he seems to be doing fine. I followed a thread on nanoreef and made him a pvc home with w shell entrance. He actually shares it with my Yellow Watchmen Goby :D

I had one for about a year that did great until my Clarki Clown decided to bully him. Pearly jawfishes do great at a cheaper price if you need to gain some confidence before dropping $100 again on the Blue Spotted.

Not a hard fish to keep. Just have to make sure the canopy is fully enclosed.
