Blue streak cleaner wrasse with lympho??

Sorry for the horrible pics, stood there for literally 10 mins trying to get good pictures and these are the best ones i got.

Are these just infected injuries or possible lympho? Or something else?
Would you recommend moving him to a low salinity or copper tank? He’s currently with cleaner shrimp, and I have a cleaner goby I can introduce to him

I'm no expert but I've had a cleaner over a year now. He sleeps nose down in the smallest rock holes he can find so having damage on his dorsal would not be unusual.

Looks more like a bacterial injury with minor hemorrhaging on the belly area. Treatment needed best in quarantine treated with seachem kanaplex
These guys are tough and endure a lot. Mine is 8 years old

I agree, looks more like a bacterial issue than Lymphocystis. I don't see copper or hyposalinity helping here.

How long have you had the fish, is it still eating?

Agree with Jay and Vetteguy - Lymphocystis would appear as almost like a small cotton ball growth on the edge of a fin. However - it can also affect the body of the fish. IMHO the key is 'is it getting better or worse or staying the same'. If you're inclined to treat - kanamycin - as Vette said would be a good option - in a hospital tank. I personally - if it is not having other symptoms, is eating (to me it looks a little thin) - and the lesion Is getting better - may elect to just watch and treat only if getting worse. You may in any case want to have another tank ready (and have medication on hand).

Thank you! He will remain where he is in normal salinity with the inverts. We’ve had him now for little over 2 days, he just came in with the new shipment and is under quarantine. I do believe he ate some brine and mysis before I left for the weekend but I will double check when I get back. They get offered brine/mysis daily

I think I will hold off on treatment unless it gets worse, he did come in very skinny. He had only been here for a little over 24hr when i took the pics. He’s otherwise active and breathing good, very aware and cruising around. The other one we got in has similar injuries but far less extensive, and is also doing well so far. I will update on tuesday with more pics when i go back to work

That tank system also just got a large 50% water change (literally finished it 5mins before i left last night), so water should be nice and clean for all the new stuff for the weekend.

So I stopped by the store today but he was hidden in the tank somewhere, my coworker assured me he didn’t die so hopefully he’s just hidden somewhere. I did get pics of the other one though, who is completely healed up now from the wounds he had. He does have a cleaner goby with him so I may move the goby over to the other one as I believe he helped a little. He’s nice and fat and the wrasse looks amazing.
