Discovered these a few months ago and have been wanting them ever since. Being "tired" of the designer clowns, I've been wanting to go a different route and these were it. LADD had a nice one a week or two ago, but I wanted a pair. Lucky, they showed up on the Sneak Peak today so I was refreshing LADD at 6pm again :) Can't wait to get them next week...the female is 3.5 inches :)

Gorgeous Bryan, Love them. How big do they get and where are they caught from?

These are from Coral Sea, and these clownfish, according to LA, get up to 5 1/2 inches, so they are bigger than the normal clowns (which is another reason I wanted them). When I put some small Black Ice clowns in my big 220, they looked so tiny in there, haha.

Gotta have them delivered on Wednesday since I have an appointment to get my car detailed at work on Tuesday, haha.

Awesome rare clowns!!! I've had a pair for a couple years living in a blue Haddoni. They haven't laid eggs yet, but I'm hopeful:-) the female can be a bit nasty, watch your fingers:-) Congrats!!!

I saw that those went really quick, lol! They're one of my favorite clownfish and rarely available. Great purchase, get us some pic's once they arrive.

I'm now debating on putting a nem in the tank, but we'll see as I wasn't really planning to put any corals in this tank. Coming from LADD I'd expect these to be superb fish.

Yeah, I was refreshing Divers Dne on the iPad 2, in the car on the way to my son's pre-school graduation, haha. They were in my cart within 15 seconds of coming up, and I checked out in less than 20 seconds, haha.

Pictures will definitely be shared :)

Nice pick up. A nem would be nice as well for them. cant wait to see them in their new home.

Im' really going to try to go without putting a nem in the tank, as I honestly don't want to feed it and worry about it. I'm sure my LEDs would be fine for it, but just don't want to mess with it. Maybe I'll change my mind later, we'll see :)

I hope you do! A clown/nem interaction is awesome to watch! Either way great pick up, awesome fish!

Very nice Bryan! You're picking up all sorts of goodies lately! 1smile1

Those babies are sweet!

Got the clownfish today, and man, I'm in LOVE. They are already Rods Pacific Plankton soaked in Selcon. They were also very lubby dubby when I put the male in the acclimation container with the female. They were rubbing against each other like they missed each other during shipment, haha.

Pictures aren't too great since the QT needs to be wiped down :)

These aren't small fish either, the female is actually bigger than the baby blonde Naso I got in today as well.
