Blue stuff in skimmer

Anybody know what my skimmer is picking up?
There’s no fish in my tank, it’s cycled and I’m dosing Red Sea no pox to get nitrates lower before I butt fish.
Only thing I can think of is the Carib sea life rock

I don't think it's the rocks (at least it shouldn't be from the rocks). It looks like it dissolves if you rub it?

Have you painted or used any aerosols in a nearby room? Burned any incense? Had anything release a puff of smoke or dust nearby?

I think stuff coming off the rock is unlikely, though it's potentially possible... though I'd expect the colors to match, at least.

Butt fish? Huh?
Could be sponge material.or the nopox.could be stripping the purple from your rock. Lol. Either way glad ur skimmers catching it and picking it up. Lol good for u.

Putt fish in’ lol
There are no fish in the tank.
My wife tells me she has scentsy warmer in the foyer, could be that but most likely not.
cannot think of what it could it be.
