I bought a frag of Blue Sympodium. I suck it on a large rock. I now found 2 polups random about 2 feet away. I read that these are slow spreading . It’s been about 2 month.

Seems like its spreading like people say FAST! Should I pull it from the tank? Will it become an issue like people say? Or should I roll with the flow?

Mines been spreading at a decent rate (got it about 3 months ago and went from dime sized to half-dollar sized) but I've never heard of it sending off polyps like that

That's gorgeous, what's the care requirements? Thanks

They do send few polyps all the time I been having them since January and I have found around 4 times few polyps around the tank I have caught them and put them in frags for later sale and the main coloni is growing up

one of the frags is on the bottom right of the pictures

They are easy. Just they can spread fast just not as fast as Green star polyps

I’m worried that it will take over all over. I might pull it from my tank. Some say this can be a pest . It might look cool all over but it also might hinder other coral growth like Zoa for example .

They are a easy coral I don't do much for them just like GSP, but it doesn't grow as fast, I'm going to be moving them to their own island so I don't have to worry about them taking over the whole tank

Mine is on its own island and still ended up far from it. They must release and travel

I think I wanna remove them.... but would it be cool to have them all over.. or just a nuisance ..

Thoughts?
