Blue Tang advise...please help

I have a Blue tang that has lost his color and is hiding, his fins look beat up. I have had him for about a year .. small baby 1' about at purchase he is about 2.5" now. His behavior has changed last month or so, have him in a well reef rock stocked 90 gallon display tank with minimal corals. Tank has been going for 3 years. the only thing that seems to be a problem is recent aggression of 2 clowns, I also have a 6 stripped wrasse, that seems to be unaffected. Do I Take out tang and medicate him, to see if he is sick? if his health returns (I hope), relocate the clowns to a different set up? any advise is appreciated

Loss of color, hiding and beat up fins seams to show at least there is aggression. I would pull it and qt it till a disease is diagnosed.
Doing so will protect it from further harm from tank mate and maybe it's got parasites it will be easy to treat in qt.

Agree. A six line wrasse is a little Satan, for what that’s worth..

got him out, definitely aggressive clowns, they attacked me. Now how to treat Tang? I put him in with a few small live rock to give him some comfort, his behavior has been to hide in them in the display tank, my only concern is that he is scratching himself up on the rock.
