Blue tang and ich

My blue tang seems to get ich like once a month it eats normally behaves normally doesn’t scratch itself on the rocks anymore ever since the cleaner shrimp was added to the tank I don’t have another tank to place him in a treat and I’m afraid to add any treatment chemicals that might hurt my corals and inverts. Any advice I’d appreciate it other then a few white spots every 2-3 weeks or so the tang behaves normal.
