We see this frequently and a breakout often seen with this fish. These are mucus plugs often started from a skin irritation and develops into the cones which at times are mixed in with ich. Strange is, often the other tank occupants dont show signs but should not be ruled out. Best recourse is to treat this fish in a separate treatment tank using coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.

I have this white carpet anemone. It is moving a lot around and i know that its an aggressive one. Do you think that maybe anemone sting it, and tried to eat it? Is it possible a sting from it to lead finally in something like that?

Possible but when moving around, it can be a sign of too much flow

Well to rip ya a new one…

Too young of a tank, too big of a fish in a tiny tank to support such fish, take all livestock out of tank, cycle it properly, research and start over…
