Blue Tang (Hippo Tang)

Hello, I’m new to the saltwater community and started my tank in January!

I recently purchased a blue hippo tang and was just curious. I’ve seen a lot of them and not sure if this is normal. Does this picture of my tang look normal / healthy? It’s still a bit timid but it does swim freely around the tank and eats food.

Looks a-ok and I see this is in a display tank. Having high experience with tangs, This is one of several tangs which Must be quarantined as they are susceptible to skin irritations- ich and mucus issues.
What foods are you offering?

I’ve been offering nori, algae pellets, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. Do you believe I should pull it out and start up my quarantine tank? I’m trying to get my fish room ready before starting.

It goes two ways. . . . you can quarantine and assure its free of protozoans or simple observe for any abnormalities and you will have to pull all fish and treat Should there be a breakout of some sort.
For foods, add LRS Fish frenzy or herbivore frenzy and plankton. They are not big on Seaweed although some relish seaweed
