Blue tang hosting leather coral

Question will a blue tang host a coral ?
My blue tang seems to be hosting a leather coral it’s funny to watch. It is a large leather so at least that’s a good thing not sure what kind of leather it is though.

No, tangs are free swimmers. It is just hanging around it for some reason.

A lot of Blue tangs do like to have a place to chill, but a leather coral is a new one for me. I guess you can tell folks your tang is into leather?

Tangs can only host ich and velvet. But heck, what do we know about the ocean?

No... But a leather coral may be the home (host) a blue tang (for a short time - unless all the conventional wisdom that they travel 100 miles/day is incorrect). Every tang I've seen in the wild hangs out in a certain spot - and dives into it when threatened repeatedly. So - not out of the question
