Blue Tang Issues

I visited my dad and saw that his blue tang in his fish tank looked sick. It looked to me like it could be marine velvet but there was also just a general deceleration of the fish and didn’t know if there was another issue with it. I advised him to take it out of the tank to keep the other fish safe but he doesn’t know how to treat it. Any ideas?

This fish is thin, has what appears to be HLLE from poor diet and even water quality and also mucus cones which its susceptible to and will need treatment in a separate tank with coppersafe at level 2.25 for a full 30 days monitored with hanna brand copper test kit. Add aeration during treatment and maintain good water quality monitoring ammonia with reliable test kit. Some good foods are:
Mysis shrimp
plankton
LRS Fish Frenzy
TDO pellets
Spirulina brine shrimp

The tang clearly has some major issue, but it isn't clear from the photos what that might be. More background info (and clearer pics and a video) would help. This post list some of the background info that can help us diagnose this:

In any case if it were to be velvet (totally unclear) - you would need to treat the rest of the fish in quarantine. Your pictures do not show anything due to focus, etc - unfortunately
