Hey guys, I’ve been running my 120 gallon for about a month and a half. I have a pair of clowns, pair of Chromis, blue Tang (about 2 inches) and a cleaner and fire shrimp. Everyone gets along fine, eating good and looking good except the blue tang. I read that they like to hide a lot when they are small but I’m worried he’s not eating very good. I’ve tried seaweed with garlic drop, small brine shrimp and pellets. He kind of likes the pellets but doesn’t really eat the seaweed or frozen brine. He’s been more active since I got the shrimp since the shrimp tries to clean him but he’s still very shy and I’m worried about him eating. I’ve had him now for 2.5 weeks. Any suggestions?

hi ,long as no signs of distress ,would just keep on w the pellets, poss lay off brine ,try the nori once every few days, they do take a while to get comfortable :)

Not a favorable diet for what I assume is a Hippo blue tang?
Feed at minimum:
Spirulina brine shrimp
Formula 2 froxen and flake or other veggie flake such as Omega 1
mysis shrimp
small plankton
LRS herbivore diet

Add selcon vitamins to food 1-2 days a week and Garlic extract to food the other 2 days
