I've had this blue tang for 6 months right now, all healthy and eating right. But suddenly the day before yesterday I noticed a small dot on his body ..now fast forward till today the small spot dissipated today. I sadly don't have any pictures but it was like a small grain of sand on him jut one piece. I haven't added any fish/inverts over more than two months, so I'm not quite sure what it was. The good thing is that hes not showing any symptoms of ich no flashing or anything like that. Anyone have a clue what this could be?

If to this day you don't see the spot anymore and haven't noticed any unusual behavior, I wouldn't worry too much. It very well could have been a legitimate grain of sand. Noticed a few small ones on my fish a while back and watched him shake them off. But you can never be too safe, and better safe then sorry, so keep an eye out.

It's really hard to say without a pic and it could have been anthing including a piece of sand. I would keep an eye on it and observe for any of the odd behaviors you mentioned or a white spot that you described and snap a pic. We can see if any of the #reefsquad members have any other ideas.

I wouldn't worry to much. If it happens again, try to get some pics. It's possible it was a grain of sand. When crypto showed up ever so often, it would be more than one white spot IME. Keep feeding a good varied diet often.
I feed them mysis every two days then flakes on the other days and occasional supplements of shrimp and ofc some nori too. I will keep and eye on that blue tang.

We fed our tangs 3-5 times a day with a wide variety of foods. Reef nutrition refrigerated foods, TDO chroma boost pellets, LRS reef frenzy and nori in the tank daily with a new sheet morning and night. IMO, it's a big reason our tangs were so vibrant in color, healthy and fat.

I agree on the feeding, I Have aPBT and he gets a full sheet of seaweed daily (alternate between green and Nori)and frozen in the evening. My PBT is big, fat, healthy , and happy!

I think I just witness one of my clowns scratched against my canister using his forehead really quick i'm not sure if there a parasite bothering him but he does seem to be aggressive toward my anthias not sure if its just marking his territory or a parasite bothering him. If it is a parasite this could be a sign why my blue tang had that one white spot. But it still wouldn't make sense of how a parasite could get into my tank I haven't introduced anything wet lately.
