Hello all,

This blue has been through 32 days of coppersafe at 2.51-2.64 (Hanna checked every 3 days) fluctuation from evap in a 29g with HOB filter.

During that, I treated with Prazi (2 doses spread the 7 days), and then the double round of General cure after that.

He then and still is eating just fine, swimming normally, and wedging himself in PVC.

After the 32 days, I gave him 30 minutes in a rally bath with new salt water, and put him into a clean but cycled 20g tank with a HOB filter.

He still has these marks (as you can see in the video) after all of this and this is the first blue tang I've had, so I am really unsure what 'standard' coloration should be.
The spots I'm concerned with are between the two black sections of body that appear...brownish? The forward one definitely is lighter shade of blue around the mark; hopefully visible in the video as well. In the still photo if you would please check the mouth/face area for anything abnormal, perhaps that is just the standard 'face' blue tangs have but I did my best to get a decent picture of it.
Please see edited and raw photos (just circles drawn)

Thanks in advance, and of course I can try to get some other pictures if anything specific is needed.

Are the spots raised or just discoloration? If discoloration, could be where flukes were attached and the skin is still healing. If spots are raised, are the white, brown, other?

Nothing jumps out at me around the face. The brightness of the light washes out the color a bit. Do you see anything specifically that concerns you?

I can't tell there being any texture to them.
And not that I can say definitively worries me, the crackle of the face scales I guess is odd to me, but perhaps that is standard to them.
Best I can explain on the spots is they are a relatively brown center, and the skin around it is paled compared to the rest of the body.

More or less looking for some kind of suggestion or approval that it could safely move from post QT observation into a DT. I know nothing is guaranteed, but missing something obvious to those with more experience than myself because I was hesitant to ask is something I'd like to avoid.

I might just observe for a day or two more, but it looks like you followed the QT protocol and you should be fine to go. Pretty fish.

Personally, I always give fish at least two weeks with no meds, before moving them into the main tank - just to help ensure no disease is lurking unseen on them.

Yessir, thats the plan. Today makes 14 days is why I had asked about the spots still being there.
