I for sure have an interesting Blue Tang. Had this fish for about 6 months now. Eats like a pig and swims like a bat out of hell around my 6 foot long 125. This fish loves to absolutely cram itself into the oddest little crevices around my tank. After some reading about these fish, I learned that it was actually pretty normal behavior for them. One thing this fish does that is even more peculiar is that as soon as my lights dim to moonlight for the night it immediately must go to "sleep", and it of course prefers the most ridiculous spot in my display which is shoved behind the glass and heater stick. This fish stay there all night until the lights come back on the next morning. So I bring this up because I am I just purchased a new, much larger, sump for my system. Previously my heater was too long to even fit in my sump, which is why it had to stay in my display tank. Now with my new sump the heater will fit perfectly into my sump. But this of course is my Blue Tang's preferred bed if you will. Would it be a bad idea to move the heater into the sump seeing as my Blue Tang loves the thing so much? I don't want to cause undue stress or aggression in the tank as he tries to find a new home for himself.
