I don't see any fire worms or bristle worms and I treated this tank with Cupramine quite a while ago so my changes are quite low too have any, and I only added one LR ever since. it literally looks like splinter poking out of his mouth.Do you have Bristle or Fire Worms in your tank?
Fish get stung a lot more than you think. Good healthy food and pristine water conditions will help the fish's immune system. Keep an eye out for a bacterial infection from the insertion points and keep some antibiotics on hand like Kanaplex or Furan2 just in case. Some have also used a bath in an acriflavine product like Ruby Reef Rally to help fish recover from a variety of injuries. It has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualities to help fish recover.

Awesome!!Alright came home and today and fed my blue tang seaweed. It seems like the seaweed pulled the splinter right out and it appears to be some manmade synthetic material.;Blackeye That must be from my poly filter heh. Anyway, I do appreciate everyone's concern! thanks for helping.
