Thanks. The fish might just be adjusting to the new tank. Stress related behavior. It will probably stop eventually. That’s my best guess. Here they called pink diamonds
Its a reefer 525xl with the following fish+1 to the above
But some Qs to help understand better:
What size is the tank, and how many fish are in it total, including these three new tangs?
Yeah, it probably just needs some time to adjust and find it's place in the tank. Its a reefer 525xl with the following fish
2 picasso clown
2 chinese dart fish
1 midas blennie
1 couple flasher wrasses
1 lemon wrasse
1 diamond wrasse
1 salarias rembosus
1 couple yasha+pistol shrimp
1 Blue tang
1 xanthurum
1 other tang dont know the name
1 kauderni
1 hawkfish
1 gramma loretto
All fish are small in sizes even the tangs cause i wanted them to grow with my tank
And there a no signs of aggresion amongst them
Ive got lots of space left for them to hide so thats not the issueYeah, it probably just needs some time to adjust and find it's place in the tank.
The biggest reasons are usually either that, the tank is too small, or there's not enough stuff in the tank to keep it occupied (more for species that like caves and/or need lots of variety in the space).
I dont think its exersise he/she does it the whole day except when there is foodA lot of fish do this. I don’t know if it’s a stress response (like a panther striding back and forth in a cage) or an exercise/play thing.
It's a lovely tank!Ive got lots of space left for them to hide so thats not the issue
Hopefully its the first
Here some pics of my tank so you can see how is is now
Mine is still shy too and hasnt its yellow colour stillIt's a lovely tank!
And yes, it's a stress response. New fish do it a lot, and some just need a little more time than others to adjust to the tank. My blenny did it for a couple of days until he found a home base spot where he felt safe and then began to explore the tank more.
