Hello
I noticed on my blue tang white spots, so I bought a small tank to quarantine the fish, plus some medicine to help .
Please take a look at a video, it shows the fish behavior, spots and what I bought ( the medicine was recommended by a guy in petco)
will this help?

That is definitely cryptocaryon (some call it marine ich). He looks like he's scratching a lot. A fresh water dip I have heard helps give temporary relief. But I am not sure the correct protocol on that. Copper does seem to be the preferred method of treatment, but there are different kinds, some more gentle then others. I would suggest getting a good copper test like the hanna to make sure you are keeping it in therapeutic level of copper. Too much can kill it, not enough and it doesn't kill the crypto. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable then myself can chime in. #reefsquad

I agree def ich.... My blue hippo and tang had it also... Polylabs Medic help after about 10 day to 2 weeks of treatment... You should start treating ASAP bc it will spread to your other fish. Just follow the instructions exactly. Good Luck

ok, so I guess the fritz coppersafe will work, ? I read that it is for itch as well, or you guys recommend something different

As long as the fish is still eating I would get him up to speed on copper as soon as possible. Definitely invest in a good copper checker as such as the Hanna like mentioned. I would get Copper Power as it’s less harsh on most fish, also what I and most use for copper solution. Dose it at 2.0ppm for 2 weeks then move to an observation tank for another 2 weeks.
