You guys helped me with this little dude six months ago! He was a rescue, really torn up fins, scars/dents in his face and stuff with his coloring you guys thought might be HLLE. He came from a tank with horrible water and he had ammonia burns and was in a 55 gallon tank with 6 other tangs. Fast forward to now the little guy is super happy, his coloring is still a little off but his fins have come back as much as they can and he doesnt have the dents/scars anymore. But I was watching him today and realized that he hasnt grown AT ALL. Researching lots of people say they grow pretty fast. He eats like a pig. Here are pictures of him now. Is his growth stunted? He is about 2.5 to 3 inches now, same size as when I got him

Ah! I feed him mysis, brine, plankton, sprinila (excuse the spelling), Emerald feast (algae cube) and nori on a clip.

Try adding some high protein pellets like new life spectrum. Cut out the brine, it is low in nutrients.
This fish may be a bit stunted from its previous condition.
