How long have you had, and did it have this before? How long did take? I was thinking sores maybe something else but cant see well. Does the other side have tiny white spots? Now must keep close eye on other fish.

Hard to tell, how fast did it go from lively to deceased, was it a noticeable decline? My blue succumb to ich... it was very sad.
Here's a thread on it the horrible ich.

I agree velvet usually can kill things faster. This speed and other symptoms can prove important to id between the two. sometimes and its not always visible. This why is it is important to keep very close eye on others now. How many others? The sore could be more than an injury. That looks pretty brutal. Better picture would help. It could be something flesh eating. Which may or may not effect the other fish. Throw fish disease questions in that section of the forum and it will usually get good help. Tag staff member @Jay Hemdal he knows good information as well.

Hi, As @DrZoidburg mentioned, a clearer pictures of a dried off fish might help. Also, damage control is important at this point if other fish are in the tank. Here is a link to some helpful tips about posting a disease problem in that forum if you are interested in taking a deeper dive into this:
