In clownfish that have the blue/teal markings around their black borders, specifically fish like snowflake clownfish, do those markings tend to go away as they get older? How likely is it to buy a fish at a premium price with the premieum labeling only to have it lose all blue/teal traces in a years time?

Oh, really? I have no clue tbh. I thought I recall seeing videos about these but memory escapes me. The photos below are of fish in the DD of LA right now. The blue looks pretty convincing.

Both my clowns have the teal in them after having them for 6 months. I don’t know long term but it’s the same now as when I got them.

I'll try and get one tomorrow. I dont know how well it will show up in the photos but its really similar to the picture of liveaquaria you posted

All good. I would love to see them but no need to go through much trouble. Just asked in case you had one on your phone or something. ;)

Its not as good as the one posted by Kremis but both my clowns definitely has some nice teal color on them.
