Originally this started out as a small white spot few weeks back. Assumed was from his scrapping on rock. But has continued to get worse.
He is swimming and still eating fine, but doesn't appear to be getting better.
Anyone know what it is or what to do?
Thanks,

It looks like it might be lymphocyctis.

I'm not sure what the policy is linking other reef forums, but if you go to reef sanctuary under their fish disease sub-forum there is a sticky on how to treat it.

It is a viral infection that will typically run its course in about 4 weeks. The best thing to do would be to quarantine it in a cycled QT. If not, the best thing to do is make sure the fish is well fed and is not being picked on. Also, maintaining very good water quality is key. It is possible for the other fish to get lympho, but they typically only get it when they have a wound or are injured.

Yes. Keep it calm as possible. Spoil it with food to keep it stress free.

If you don't think you can catch it without a lot of chasing it and stressing it out then I'd leave it in there.

Found the link ...thanks.

It does sound like lympocystis.......
So hopefully will just run it's course like its supposed to. he is still eating good and swimming fine. if that changes will try to QT....

Thanks All
