Ok, I'm trying find to decide on a the BTT for my tank. I would like something with some character and not be such a scatty cat in the tank. I have read that they are somewhat reef safe. My Tank is over 100g with live rock and some corals mostly all toadstools, star polyps, and a duncan. The fish I have are yellow tang, regal tang, flame hawkfish, coral beauty angel, clown, green chromis, pearl jawfish, and a pair of mandirians. I also have tiger snails which they bury themselves only come up to eat, and blue leg hermit crabs. My main concern that I have read on all the other trigger about eating small fish and tearing up the rock scape. However BTT I read where they are much safer.

So I would like to get some input from anyone who has experience with the BTT. I really like the picasso trigger, but think those would be more destructive. So would like anyone input on these fish.

Thanks
Linda

I think you're pressing your luck putting trigger in there. I had a clown trigger and BTT in a 125g and between the two no inverts were safe. You could get Lucky with personality of the fish but I wouldn't bank on it
