Has anyone had any luck having a blue throat trigger in their reef/coral system? Any ideas, thoughts, feedback would be appreciated.

I had a pair and they did very well. I got rid of them for two reasons: Hogging up the food and they were showing signs of pairing and I did not want them to overtake the tank for a territory.
They bothered nothing in the tank

They are my holy grail. Had 3 in my established system. All other corals and fish thrive. They....don’t make it a week. Switched to Niger trigger, happy as can be. 3 months+.

I have a male. Greatest fish in the bunch. I have cleaner shrimps peppermints and a coral banded
Never messes with any of them swims the tank with my yellow tang side by side

I’ve recently researched the same and asked a whole lotta people the same question... I’ve received an overwhelming positive response

My male hasn’t bothered anything. Like Rockdiver said I have shrimp and clams in the tank. He could care less.

Never had any issues with them, apart from my first which chose to go carpet diving.

They are very inquisitive fish and seem to get along with tank mates
