cant find much about them? Are they safe with urchins and snails?

I’ve heard if you get a small one that hasn’t started already munching on snails, shrimp, and etc than you have a much better chance they won’t start getting a taste for them

had one in my tank for a couple years back 10 years ago and he never messed with anything was a model citizen but your mileage may vary.

Granted mine has 1 eye now , but I have 2 tuxedo urchins that are smaller than a quarter and they're still alive . The urchins dont really come out until lights are off but I don't think it would matter . The trigger never bothered my cleaner shrimp in 2 years as well . Good choice. You might be pushing it with smaller shrimp
