I just bought a trigger fish today and the filter is kinda stron and he got stuck now he’s hiding and now hiding between two weeks should he be ok I was there right when he got stuck so he wasn’t stuck for long should I be fine

Is he eating at all? I had this happen to my purple tang and half expected to find him as crab food the next morning but currently a year and a half later he is the boss of my tank!

How long has he been hiding? I had a male bjt that would wedge himself into the rocks to sleep with his tail pointing straight up in the air!

Word of caution with Blue Throat Triggers. From personal experience, make sure you have a cover on your tank. They are notorious for jumping when stressed or startled.

They are bashful at first and to assure its eating, set your phone on video mode for about 20 minutes, drop food and walk away ( You MUST walk away) Come back and review video and you will verify its eating and bashful. About 5-6 weeks, it generally comes out a little more
Assure ammonia and nitrate are NOT elevated and salinity and temperature in normal range.
What foods are you offering it ?

It is never a good sign, when a fish gets stuck to an intake. A trigger especially should have the power to get free if it is healthy.

I have a male/female pair. The male is much more adventurous and interested in everything. After 6 months the female will still occasionally hide when I come in the room, but she comes out quickly after that. Do you know what it was eating prior to you bringing her home? Pieces of krill make my triggers to Ape. Offer a wide variety of foods.
