Can anyone tell me what this creature is in my tank.
It’s blue and on close up looks like a tik.
We had to get rid of live rock a few weeks ago as over ridden with bristle worm and lost a lot of fish
Then I’ve found this?

Definitely none of them. Can you guys now see pic I’ve uploaded?
I can see the pic - I see what looks like a critter with a dark shell on the top, a black proboscis with two little antennae on the left, and a black skirt/mantle below the shell.

Yes it’s blue…. Would you know the name of it?

You lost a lot of fish because of the bristle worms? Or you lost a lot of fish when you pulled the rock because of the bristle worms? Just curious. I love my bristle worms and not to be a Debbie downer but unless you completely stripped the tank don't be surprised if they begin reappear.

Not because of the bristle worm. We had 10 that we know off. But when the live rock was put it fish started dying and so far we have lost 8 even though the water was tested and all ok!
Bristle worms creep me out! And one was huge…. But we have taken live rock out now and going back to basics

Did you put any back in to replace it? The 'basics' for a marine system starts with live rock (porous) surface hosting bacteria to break down waste. Unique to marine/diff than fw. Suppose tons of sand, bio bricks, sponges could work but... :thinking-face: The worms did not kill the fish

I know the bristle worms never killed fish! But they freaked me out.
I’m not sure where to buy live Rick from now on as I do think something went wrong as soon as we put live in
