So I just saw what look like flatworms on my tank glass, out of nowhere as I haven’t added anything in about 6 months. But what can you do; pretty sure they are not Acro eating ones as my acros are fine.

I read that a blue velvet nudi feasts on these, anyone have any experience with them? I would prefer that to Flatworm Exit (which I ordered), but I read these nudis don’t do too well in our tanks.

Any info is appreciated. I am siphoning these guys off the glass as I can, but pretty sure that is a losing proposition, unless I want to do that every day for as long as I have my tank.

I introduced a Bluestreak into our tank, super cool looking critter, the color of the blue is indescribably beautiful. That was the last time we have seen it. :)

I wish you better luck if you get one.

I have used blue velvet nudibranchs before for flat worm problems. They do work pretty well. Make sure you remove the nudibranch before it dies or it will release the flatworm toxin back into the aquarium.

127 gallon, 160 twv. I have a 4 line wrasse who pays no attention to them currently, although that appears not to be the genus that likes flatworms upon more research.

127 gallon main, another 30-40 gallons in the sump. I have a 4 line wrasse, who does nothing to them, but upon further research I need to get a diff genus wrasse.
Our yellow coris swam by them and just smiled, I seen it pick at a few but not enough to make a difference.

Did you notice an issue if/when it died and released toxins back in your tank? Or did you run carbon when you put it in?

Well, I can't honestly say that it died, I can tell you we haven't seen it since we put it in about a month ago. We have a huge elephant snail in the same tank that we "might" see once a month. It's a 32 gallon Biocube. I'm only running chemipure blue and cheato so "if" it died it didn't cause us any issues.

Hmmm...my corris devours them...
I know other people that have the yellow coris have great luck with them devouring fw's. Not ours, he's more interested in hanging out with his flame tail buddy. But, it's still a beautiful fish and one of our favorites! :D

Its funny how 2 of the same species will have such different appetites/ personality .
