Might want to make sure your blue fish are still blue.

It is in the bottom of the skimmer cup. It is very blue. It didn't have a smell to it either.

Are you using Waste Away from Dr Tims?

I do not have any additives at this time. I did a 4 day blackout do to an extreme green hair algae breakout. I have done a couple of water changes in a row and added some copepods.

Hmm, could be some green cyano, some strains of it have a blueish/ teal tint to them.

Yes when I use water conditioner (Tetra Aquasafe which is blue) & switch the skimmer on too early.
