Hi,
I was wondering if someone could clear up things for me.
I cant figure out the difference between
African Blue Xenia
Electric Blue Xenia
and
Tru Blue Xenia
Here is a pic of mine, what do you think this is?
And can someone explain to me the differences
thank you

Are those individual polyps? It looks like each stalk is separated. If so, I'm thinking those are Anthelia. Here is a shot of my Electric Blues. They look like this under a flash light or under the sun, so shine it up and see what you think. Any Cespit (Electric blues, African Blues, etc.) will have glowing sclerites. It will be difficult to mistake. My African Blues need a flashlight or flash to show the sclerites, but they are there. The Electric Blue glows on it's own, but shines under flash/sun/flashlight.

This is how my African Blue Cespitularia looks like. As already mentioned you see the glittering specks when you shine light on it.

Thank you for replying,
each stalk is seperated. but there is certainly an irridenscent glow in them, almost like a plasma look.
The LFS said it was xenia.
Ive done some searching and every website I have found it on that calls it anthelia also calls it xenia, so you can see why im just completely confused.
