I have wondered this for a long time. The tank requirements listed for fish on Blue Zoo's site is typically about a third less than Live Aquaria and other sites. I personally have never ordered from them. Their site is nice and overall pretty informative/ educational. What is your experiences with Blue Zoo Aquatics?

I ordered from them once. The fish were in outstanding health and bigger than what you would usually get. There was a doa with a shrimp and after several attempts to contact them through email and telephone without success I gave up.

I've seen members in other forums not having much luck with them. The fish are from a local wholesaler in Los Angeles that sell to the public. Honestly, I'd stick with Live Aquaria/Diver's Den. Or if you're looking for something rate Reefwise. They fully quarantine their fish, to my knowledge.

The fish from there are in good shape the problem seems to be in customer service. Like pete my fish came in great but it took weeks to get ahold of someone for an answer to a question lol.

My experience with them has been mixed. I got a tremendous bargain on a healthy, mature lineatus wrasse from them. Because of that success I ordered a White Taile bristletooth tang that was easily 2" bigger than what I ordered and came shipped in a pitifully small volume of water. He looked bad from the get go and survived about 24 hours. No guarantee on that fish (arive alive only). With LA I would have gotten a refund.

I received 4 fish from them and one of the m had ick, the ick got into my display (I wasn't running a qt at the time) and killed 3 of the fish from blue zoo aquatics and one of my tangs, I was very disappointed and will not be ordering from them again

Sounds like a place to avoid. Sort is supposed me thought with all the time they take to put a ton of educational articles on their site. The minimum tank requirement also puzzled me.

Thing is you will get sick fish from any place you order. Just got vibrio from LA.

I ordered 5 fish frm them a few months ago n had no luck with them at all. The 6 line wrasse died within the 1st week, all i did was send them a pic n got a refund, my other fish which were bicolor angel n auriga butterfly never ate so they died after 2 weeks. The bicolor dotty n valenti puffer ate but 1 day i found the dotty under a fake rock dead. The puffer was the only one tht made it out of the qt [emoji19]. They donhave some great selections tho! But my luck wasnt so great with them

So besides LA and DD. What are some other online retailer you have had consistent succeed with? Confuse mentioned reed wise which I will check out. Any other? The closet good LFS I have is Gerber's Tropical Fish Warehouse in Dayton.

As mentioned above the fish i ordered came in healthy and bigger than expected. Packing wasnt great though and out of my emporer angel, heniochus butterfly, majestic angel, and a niger trigger. The trigger is the only one to make it so far. They wouldnt eat anything.
