Bluelights vs daylights

Everything in my aquarium seems to enjoy bluelights more or is it just me? ?

It is you. This is an oversimplification, but daylight for good growth and color rendering, and then blue it up to illuminate to your desire. Our eyes are a terrible judge of color and intensity.

Im just basing it off the life in my aquarium. Maybe my daylights are to high

How do you judge what enjoy means?

My fish do prepare for bed when blues come on after their halides.

I have T5 Blue+ start and end of day. My zoas and LPS, especially Gonis, slowly open up with T5s Blue+ only and start to retract when back to T5 Blue+ only. The corals open up the most under Halides during mid day and the fish look their prettiest. The corals do show more color with blue lights, but they are more expanded and more polyp extension with Halides.

Like a few hours ago my corals weren't fully opened or nor extended (kenya tree went all the way in?but when it switched over they opened and was fully extended

And my fish seem to hide more in the days

How do you judge what enjoy means?

Well, you can't miss the beer clinking and cheers all around. LOL

My corals seem to love the blue more and my algae seems to enjoy the white more.

I noticed no difference in corals. They seem to like the blue light just fine. Clowns settled down in their sleeping spot though.

Hmm... it does sound like the light intensity could be an issue.

Its at 30 percent led.but i have a really deep tank
