Seems like a lot of workbe prepared 3 5 gallons with just airline light bubbles no micro , use a shot glass to switch fry never let them get air ,from5 to 5 to 5 every 24 hrs water will high in toxin from amount of foot nessasary so now you have 2 brew bbs going 24 hrs apart ,and rotating 3 5 gallons every day
Yeah, I've read Jim Welsh's breeding log. Pretty coolFor pipefish fry your going to need copepods and lots of them. If you go to the Marine Breeding Initiative website/forum they have breeding logs on a couple different pipe species. Very informative and fascinating to read.
I'd feed a fair bit, at least for Erectus their fry are not good swimmers so I tried to make sure it was a target rich environment as far as all of them finding food, this in turn meant more maintenance though to keep the water quality good so it is a careful balance. And yes you need to make sure you decapsulate brine shrimp. It can seem a bit scary using bleach to do it but as long as you have a good dechlorinator it's not too difficult and the risk to the fry is low. We're all just very paranoid about bleach and our tanks for good reason!

I just did a 100 percent water change that night and was done with the problem. That was over year agobleach?

I'm gonna try to raise them. My tank is at 80 degrees, so they should hatch in three nights.
