My BTT has been wedging himself lately in my rockwork in strange places such as this video or something similar in the back of the tank. He has caves that he normally goes to hide and sleep into such as the one below and there’s another one on the right side of the tank. Is this normal or should I be concerned

I recently introduced a green puffer that’s 1-2 inches only thing that is new and possibly my protein skimmer.

Possible intimidation by the puffer.
If fish still eating?
Breathing normal or labored?

He eats little now, he won't budge to come eat, only if it comes by him, I don't see any change in breathing same normal rate.
When you get a chance, please post video under white lighting
Lowering white intensity May help also

Cant see the video, but I have two triggers. They “lock” themselves in cracks and stuff when frightened with their fins

Hey, he wasn’t having it yesterday and hid in the back where I couldn’t get a good video. Got one from today for a little, he didn’t eat much or nothing, was hard to see yesterday.

I try to feed small feedings 4-5 when I can, but other half the week is slightly bigger meals 3 times.

When your triggers “lock” do they come out of it for feeding? Mine doesn’t move I have been trying to target feed him, sometimes he moves to grab a small bite, more often than not he is a statue and ignores it.

I’ve tried a variety of pellets, flakes, frozen hakari spirulina brine, regular baby brine, and a diy shrimp, clam, squid, with selcon, seaweed and spirulina powder.

Unfortunately video dark and fuzzy. Try lowering white intensity a little to keep it relaxed and next time you feed, to determine if its intimidation or not, set your cell phone on video mode for about 30 mins and drop a little food and walk away - YOU MUST walk away as they know youre there.
Review the video and see if its eating in your absence.
If sish breathing normal or labored?
Any cloudy eyes or dots on body?

Yes they do, they go nuts for food! Try chunky, its a food for triggers ant eels. I feed my two with a piece on tongs and they love it
