Any ideas what the big spots are? I will try to get a better look at him. You can kinda make them out in the video. Never seen this before.

I will get some better shots of him when I get home.

A few small white specs in the fw bath water after 5 minutes. Real small.

Did the things that fell off the fish you are referring to (the white specs) look like sesame seeds? Or about that size?

Half the size of a poppy seed. I’m thinking poppy seed on a bagel size here. Pretty small. There were five or less that I could see in the bowl.

He does not mind his picture being taken. Hopefully someone can diagnose him.

Just wanted to say beautiful fish, hope the team can heal him up

Those pics sure look like flukes. Do you have prazipro or general cure on hand?

I have prazipro on hand. They are on day two of a tank transfer so I was waiting for the next transfer to dose the new tank.

I think that looks like some crazy flukes as well. If they didn’t fall off in a FW dip though I wonder.

Yeah he had a full 5 minute dip in some 79 degree rodi a few hours ago. Going to try prazipro in a day when they go into their next tank.

Bump. Water change and prazipro? Move the tank transfer up to today and get him in prazi now?

Looking at his top fin I was thinking some ruby Reef rally may help. Really just guessing here.

A bath in RRR may help prevent infection. I would go ahead and dose prazipro. You may need antibiotics by the time you are finished with two rounds of prazi if you don't have them on hand. I would get metroplex, Kanaplex, and Furan-2.

Male had a rally bath and went into a clean tank with prazi Saturday night. when I checked on him yesterday he appeared pretty much spot free as compared to the pictures above. Not active but visibly cleaner. Found him laying dead this morning though.

I want to replace him but want to establish a better qt/medication system Incase of a similar event. Maybe a FW dip and right into copper?

Tough Monday.

Just an update, per my photos, LA got back to me that their people think my issue is brook and it should be treated with formaldehyde.
