So what is everyone's thoughts on bolting to gather a fish tank?

I don't think that most people are telling me it won't work. It was more or less what I thought I would get from most people. Most of the population don't think outside the box. I got almost 70% thinking it is a bad idea. I thought that it would be closer to 80%. I was already moving forward on building the tank. The Polycarbonate will be in next weekend I will machine it over the weekend and put it together some time the following week.

Well it's an idea, I'll give you that. I wouldn't call it a good idea, or a bad idea.
From my vantage point, it seems you're primarily fixated on your determination of simply fusing(bolting?) your two hobbies(CNC milling/reeftanks) into creating something unique and this is influencing you in the opposite direction of the reality that a bond with solvents is profoundly stronger than your bolt-together idea. But if you simply want to be able to take it apart then fair enough. Haven't seen anyone really suggest it won't work. In any case, good luck on the build.

Hey if you just want to Cnc some poly carbonate you can make me a frame for a mesh top lid for my tank:p. I can't wait to see it. I used to make test tube holders out of billet aluminum when I worked in a machine shop.
