I built a 550 gallon fish aquarium using plywood and used rubberize it membrane everything works with the rubberize. The problem I have is bonding the acrylic glass. Can someone tell me the best way to bonding the acrylic glass to the front of the aquarium?

Silicone will provide the seal, but will not "stick" to the acylic, never has, never will.

What you need is a bead of silicone to keep it "water tight", then something to hold the panel is place.

I saw on years ago. The Acrylic sat in an “L” Channel at the bottom so it could be pushed in by the water pressure. He used Rubber Cord Stock, and the ends were Super glued together. Not sure if it had just one glue joint or if he mitered and glued each corner.

Essentially you need to make a pressure seal as there is no good way bond acrylic to other materials. I have not done this before. There are a few folks that have done this successfully before. @dca22anderson did this for his tank. Not sure how his method scales but he might be able to provide some tips.
