A couple of months ago, I was gifted a tiger pistol shrimp by the lfs. I was thinking he was a mantis at first but once I got a good look I was able to ID him. In my tank, I have a pair of clowns, the pistol and some hermits as well as a couple snails.

I feed the tank my sis shrimp, emerald entree and brine shrimp, all frozen. I hold the cube between my thumb and forefinger, and the clowns will nibble at the frozen mass. The rest of the cube goes to the betta tank, since they can finish it off easily.

So for the past week, when I feed the clown fishes, little tiger shrimp comes out of his burrow.. so I thought, hey I bet he would like some of this!

First cube, he stole. Now I have figured a way to offer him the cube, and he is very gentle, and just takes off some, and then retreats. It’s the cutest dang thing. I think we are bonding.

Does anyone else really enjoy tiger shrimps? I think he’s the coolest little guy. I think I’ll name him ravager :)

Mine almost knows when I feed. But I feed my clowns pellets so some always makes it down, where him and the goby find it.

Get your shrimp a watchman goby they will share burrow
I’ve been trying. My lfs is supposed to be ordering. Tuesday will be week three so let’s hope the pull through for me this time. That three weeks could have gone to qting him, and been in the tank that much sooner.
