You can use pvc as internal suport and glue liverocks around it. I would skip the lace rock ingeneral since they’re heavy.

Funny i read this thread.. I just made this pillar with a big rock on top of it. Was planning to glue some dead acros branchs on it with green star polyps although now that i look at this formation it looks like a mushroom cloud from a nuclear bomb

Just the jbj water weld you can get from walmart or lowes and home depot. $15-20 is enough to build a big scape
