I'm so stoked about this light! Its beautiful, sexy and powerful! The light exudes quality! Cant set it up yet over the tank because I need stronger wall brackets. But I took some shots to show off the beauty of this light.

You know you've got quality when you see this branding:

Sooo happy with this light! T5+LED with Dimming and complete coverage of my tank. To be honest, I plan to upgrade sometime next year to a 93G cube, so I bought this light with that in mind too.

I havent made a major tank equipment purchase in the past few years. I like T5 technology and wont move away yet.

If you have an ATI LED Powermodule, please join the thread and I will have a look at your build thread if you have one. Thanks!

That s an impressive fixture. I'm planning an upgrade right now and have been considering one. I'm just having a hard time coming off the wallet.

Those are very nice fixtures. I would take one of these over a Radion, anyday! I played with one a few years ago when ATI was just finishing devlopment of them. Amazing is an understatement.

Love the hitech look, congrats. I was leaning toward all LED but definitely following along...

Disgusting !! I n v u!! Beautiful light
Can see some real craftsmanship .

Yup, I have seen and handled the following fixtures:
ATI Sunpower, Radion Pro, AI Sols, Giesemann Futura (this is a beautiful fixture if you're going all LED) and a few others. The ATI LED Powermodule is in a class of its own when it comes to craftsmanship. :D

Lucky dog nice!
Haha! I got the Flexibility of 8 T5 tubes along with the proven nature of T5's, as well as the POP and SHIMMER from the LED's. Sweeeeet!

Just work extra hours for a few months and you can work up the difference in price from whatever else fixture you were looking at. :D

Yup, having played with it for about a week now, it is an amazing light.

So that small led strip gives broad coverage. I know the t5's will, particularly since you have 8 of them.
I already had a DIY Modded ATI Sunpower with T5 and LED's. My LED's had 80degree lens on them. The ATI LED's also have 80degree lens, but I can say for certain that the spread of PAR from the LED alone is BRILLIANT. ATI have cooked some super duper reflectors/lens for LED's. I'm not surprised though, these Germans know how to build high spec stuff. Their T5 reflectors are the BEST in the business. No kidding, the spread from the LED's is amazing!

I love mine. Upgraded from a Radion G2

The LEDs in the 24" model cover my 24" cube fully by themselves.

Yup, as I said above, the LED's have amazing spread.

Thanks. My previous fixtures was also T5 with LED (modded ATI Sunpower with LED). I wouldnt go anywhere else for the moment.

Here is a cool video I found linked on a UK retailers website. The video shows off the ATI LED Powermodule...watch out for the world famous T5 tank. :D

sahin, do you have any photos of your sun power mod? i have a 6 bulb and removed the center two bulbs, I'm waiting for my heat sink to come and am still getting ideas. less have not been ordered yet but I have an idea on what I want to do.

for some reason i didnt notice your username, im already subscribed to your thread on the other site. ive found 3 builds on modding a sunpower so far.

great light btw. if they had 2 smaller led clusters on the 24" fixtures instead of 1 large cluster i may have been more likely to purchase one, so i could have the full cloud/weather features of the controller.

Nice...I might have missed it what size is the fixture.

Woah, the PAR is already CRAZY as it is. Another 75w LED cluster will mean you wont be able to keep anything other than high light SPS in the tank. I measured the PAR, even near the sandbed the PAR was like in the 300's, mid level it was reaching 450 and above...

what are you going to do to your old T5 where you added the 24 royals blue to it ?
Keep it for a while...just need to make sure the new light works alright etc, and then sell the old one.

Great light choice..
Thanks. :)

Its the 24inch 8 x 24watt with 1 x 75watt LED cluster. Total almost 270watts!!! This light is equivalent to a 400w halide in terms of PAR levels.

i actually don't want more par…i would take less or equal leds, just divided into separate clusters as opposed to all of the leds in one cluster. that way you get all the features of the controller…which is not possible with just 1 cluster. i am in the middle of currently modding my 6 bulb sun power at the moment.

Beautiful light fixture Sahin, and I agree completely...in a class of it's own
Thanks dude.

I see. The 75watt cluster has been very cleverly designed by ATI. I checked the PAR spread with my PAR meter and its amazing how they managed to get the PAR spread out all over the tank. ATI produced their own custom reflectors for this. So it doesnt matter is the LED's are in cluster or spread apart. Furthermore, if spread apart, it would increase colour banding which is an inherent problem with LED's.

I agree that it would have been nice to have cloud sweep on the 24inch version, but it would have pushed the price up more. I am very happy with the features, performance and the aesthetic design of the LE Powermodule.
