booster pump and rodi system

I have been looking for a booster pump for my rodi unit. There are quite a few pump rated for a few different output like, 50gpd - 100gpd, what is the differences? Can a booster pump rated for 50gpd be used on an rodi unit that is rated for 75gpd... I am quite confuse on this? and if it is used, what is the total output be for the day? ;Oldman

You can use a 50GPD pump on a 75GPD but the amount of permeate that you make would be around 50 gallons. I would recommend that you take a look at the Buddie Booster. Its what I have on my 100GPD setup and works great. Its universal and easily will connect to your system. It will also automatically shut off the system if you connect it to a float switch. I believe they are on sale right now.

I second the Buddie Booster recommendation. Funky name but I have had one for several years and it works well and has been reliable.
Mine is on a 75GPD system...
