Need help understanding on how to set up this booster pump.
I am on well water with high co2 and burn thru di resin like crazy. I am splitting up my ro system from the di system, so I can aerate the ro water first before going thru the di. So water goes through the ro only system into a container and aerated for 24 hours. Then I got this booster pump to pump the water out of ro container through the 3 stage di resin and into a different container for the di water. The booster pump came with a pressure sensor to hook up to the flow resistor that is normally on a rodi unit. But since I am separating the ro system from the di system I don't have a flow resistor or pressure gauge on the di system. Do I need to add these to the di system or can I just not hook the pump up to the pressure sensor and a pressure gauge and just run it in from the ro container directly "in" the booster pump and "out" into the di water container? Do I really need to use the pressure sensor and a pressure gauge? Here is the booster pump I am talking about. So can I just not use the part circled in red? Anyone see anything wrong with doing this? I have seen other pumps like this that did not have this "pressure sensor on them. Or how should I hook this up? Thanks

The di system it will be hooked to. I already have this and thought it would help but still burn through di resin after 60 gallons.

RO part:
Most reefers have a booster to pump water at a higher pressure than household. The reason is; RO functions better at high pressure. The gauge is to tell us what the boost is so we dont go over what the canisters can handle or go too low making the RO not as effective.

DI part;
You dont need a gauge unless your barrel pump puts out a lot of pressure and the booster will add to that causing too much pressure and leaking DI canisters.
I dont use the pumps pressure sensor shut off on my RO system.
