My salt mix station just wants to fight...

I just installed the CDP 8800 booster pump and I can’t get it to drop below 90psi.

Turn the screw counter clockwise does nothing.
Clockwise and pressure goes up.

Not diggin it.

Anyone know what I’m doing wrong??

It was running, but when it shot up to 100 i didnt want to go any further.

I have it working now, but the fix was interesting.

I turned it off and turned the screw clockwise.
I thought i had realy screwed up (band pun intended) because i heard a slight crack and then it was a little dificult backing it out.

But after that the screw was working correctly once turned back on.

Have it at a nice 65psi now. So I am making water finally.

Still have one leaky Tee to replace and I don’t like the flow I am getting from the mixing pump (sadface) so I have to swap that out. (I think)

What kind of water movement do you guys like to see in the salt mixing tank. Its a 50 gallon vert and with about 15 gallons in there I have what I would call a gentle whirlpool going. I was hoping for better, but am I overdoing it?

I’ll have auto water change running by this weekend if it kills me...
