Hey everyone, I am finally able to not only get back into the forum after a bunch of school work over the summer, but I will soon be upgrading my 29 Gallon Biocube to a 125 gallon tank!
I have been planning this forever now, but I am just now able to do it.
I found a tank that I will be picking up Friday night, it does need some work but I can't wait to get started on it.

The first thing is that I will need to repair a small crack that the guy says is on back side of the tank, I am thinking I will just be able to silicone a piece of plastic onto it, but I will see. Other than that I need to get together a bracer for the tank as well, since it is missing one, but other than that, I will just have to build the stand, wait until Christmas for Santa to bring some equipment ;), plumb the tank, cycle it and then begin the transfer!

In total the system will be 145-180 gallons depending on if I use a 20 or 55 gallon tank for the sump, but only time will tell.

Other than entire mess of a text, everything else is basic, I think I am going to go with a taller stand, to allow a more level view with the tank, I am not entirely sure what equipment I will be using, I know I am going with T5 lighting, but everything else is up to change.

Oh I almost forgot a few things, the tank theme.
While I do love my LPS, and my zoas, and toadstools, the main focus of the tank will be, you guessed it, SPS. However, I will of course keep my LPS and probably add some more, I will definitely add some zoas, and keep my toadstool as a main "attraction of the tank", but I also can't wait to start planting the seeds for my SPS forest, and in the middle, have a nice clam.
The rock work will be of medium density, probably going along the sides and along the back with some formations going towards the front, some rock islands every now and then for other corals.
But I am going to keep ample swimming room for the fish I am planning on adding.

The Stocking List:
Have:

-Two Ocellaris Clowns
-One Small Hippo Tang (Yes yes, I know (Hippo tang in a 29 gallon, or Hippo tang in 125. Don't worry, as I am doing right now, when I need to, I can upgrade)
-One Blue/Green Reef Chromis
-One YWG
-One Cleaner Shrimp
-One Tiger Pistol Shrimp

Want:
-One Yellow Tang
-Some kind(s) of wrasse possibly(Was thinking McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse, Whip Fin Fairy Wrasse, any advice with this?)
-Bristletooth Tomini Tang (How would this get along with the Hippo?)
-Mimic Lemon Peel Tang (Again, how would this get along with the Hippo and Bristletooth?)

Well, I feel like that is about it, this tank wont be up and running until maybe January at the latest I suspect. But I will try and keep this post updated and informed until then.
If you have any questions, or want to say anything, feel free to leave a comment, and I will get back when I can.
Thank you!

Look forward to your new 125 journey. I am a biocube 29 owner, I plan to do the same in few years :-)

Thanks man! The BioCubes like this are cool, but it is just too limiting when it comes to fish, it was a great learning experience though.
