The raised scales suggest bloating or constipation and stomach somewhat bloated. Need a better pic but fish is highly distressed and may not eat or recover. Could use a video of at least 20 sec to help determine that and see its breathing rateGot this guys yesterday, came like this out the box can I do anything? About it? Looks like a fungal infection might be wrong.![]()

Sorry false alarm I apologize I didn’t notice that some borb have a white things on the finsIt looks like this fish is 'moribund' - where did you get it from? Could you post more history and some more pictures? It's hard to tell the exact orientation - is the area on a fin - or on the body. It almost looks like lymphocystis but that would not cause symptoms. If you received the fish in this condition (as you suggest) - I would be talking to the place from which you bought it as well. Were there any issues with acclimation? Is the fish in any medication now?
I did acclimated the fish it’s a false alarm, yes I am quarantining the fishFungal infection would be very unusual in saltwater fish.
Did you get it acclimated? Is it in a QT tank?
