Picked up a borb pair last week eating at the lfs and looked fine. Still eating but between Wednesday and today they have both developed a hazey eye looks bigger than the other eye. Both is on the left eye. These are pretty small fish both still eating fine. I did a fresh water dip on one thinking it was flukes but it never came off. He's not happy afterwards but seems ok. Any ideas what I should do? They are in a small frag tank at the moment.

Thanks

Could be due to either injury (often the case if only one eye is involved) or bacterial infection (usually the case if both eyes are involved). You could try epsom salts to soothe injury - one tablespoon per five gallons, repeat one time if needed in a couple of days. Use the USP Grade epsom salt, with no additives.

If you suspect bacterial involvement, Erythromycin is often effective with eye infections.

Furan 2 deals with bacterial infections. Wesley42079 was recommending this because it was suspected that your Anthias may have a bacterial infection.

Copper treats diseases like ick, velvet.
Prazipro treats for flukes
