Hi All I'm setting up a new Tank Waterbox 100.3 and was wondering if I could use bore water filtered with a 75GPD RODI unit

Has anyone ever tried this?

Thanks

Alan

By bore, do you mean well?

If so, I use well water for my tanks with no issues. Some wells do contain a fair bit of CO2, and that will eat up DI resin. If you have this issue, you may need to make it up without DI resin into a container, then off gas it with a bubbler, then pump it through the DI.

I would also suggest to just get well water tested to make sure nothing odd in there you may have to worry with,

That's great thank you for the reply
I was going to do a small batch then test for No2 No3 No4 amonia and the PH and PO4

Would this be all I would need to test for
Or should I do copper and silica as well

I would do copper and silica just to be safe. If high silica, you can always add a silica buster filter to save the DI. For CO2, I am not sure how to test that, but @Randy Holmes-Farley should be able to tell ya how.
